VIDEO VISITATION OFFICIALLY BEGINS MONDAY, OCTOBER 2ND.
Video visitation hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (last scheduled visit is 8:40 p.m.) in the Pope County Sheriff's Office lobby. Although the lobby will be open for visitation during these hours, the administrative offices of the sheriff's office will still have operating hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Each inmate is allowed up to three (3) visits per week. Visits are 15 minutes in length each.
Beginning Friday, 9/29/17, visits can be scheduled for Monday, 10/2/17. Visits may not be scheduled sooner than one (1) day ahead and may not be scheduled later than two (2) days ahead. For example, if you want to visit on a Wednesday, you may schedule the visit on the Monday or Tuesday prior.
All previous visitation rules, including dress code, still apply and must be agreed to upon registering. Failure to follow the rules may lead to a termination of the visit and possibly suspension of visitation privileges for both the inmate and the visitor.
Visitors may register via their home computers or may use the registration kiosk in the lobby of the sheriff's office.
